Adopt A Pet

The Georgia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit pet rescue organization located in Suwanee, Georgia.  We place abandoned, unwanted and abused cats and dogs into loving homes.  We receive our pets from many places, including from families in the community who can no longer care for their pet, and from law enforcement agencies that have taken in abused pets, but our main focus is to rescue cats and dogs from animal control facilities around the state that euthanize for space.

Paws for Consideration   To assist with the adoption of our animals, this program allows any animal to be returned to our facility for a full refund within 7 days of adoption.  We hope this approach will lead to better outcomes for our families and pets alike.  Paws for Consideration

Whether you have questions about pet ownership or need help choosing the right companion, our staff is here seven days a week to assist you.

In addition to the animals that are available for adoption from our shelter, we have weekend adoption events at PetSmart at the PetSmart locations shown below, and house cats and kittens at the PetSmart Peachtree Corners (Norcross) store that are available for adoption seven days a week.  Please check our event calendar to confirm dates, locations, and hours.
