Olive's Story

When we first looked at Olive in the shelter we were told she would need hip surgery. She had probably gotten hit by a car before she arrived at the shelter. However, we did not let that dissuade us from adopting her! We're so glad we didn't either. She is the smartest dog I've ever seen. She learns things so quickly. For instance, she knows what the printer sounds like and loves to try and grab the paper out of it before we can get it. Olive also recovered quickly from her surgery. She was up and walking the very same day she had the surgery!

The two vets she had seen absolutely loved her. They remembered her name and who she was. She is a very sweet dog with such a charming personality, with a little hint of that puppy mischievousness. I couldn't imagine us with a different dog. If you are looking for a new animal to add to your family, please, adopt a shelter dog. The satisfaction that you have saved a dog is so rewarding. And don't let a dog's health problems or looks or breed turn you away, because every dog deserves to be loved.
