Pets Suffer in Today’s Economy, Too
The Georgia SPCA has been in the news lately due to the increasing number of "door dumps" at the shelter. This typically happens after the shelter is closed - animals are left tied to the door, in boxes, and last spring six puppies were left in back of the shelter in a Tupperware bin with an airtight lid! Thankfully, all these poor babes survived, but this puts additional stress on our hard-working staff and shelter resources. For more of this story, click on the links below..
